Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the entire Virgoo Studio website at www.virgoostudio.com, every digital product, prompt pack, and AI Operating System sold through it, our customer dashboard, our contact and enquiry forms, and every other service Virgoo Studio operates under this domain. There is one Privacy Policy for all of Virgoo Studio — we do not publish separate privacy policies for individual products.
By using the Virgoo Studio website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Name, email address, and phone number (checkout, account creation, contact/enquiry forms)
- Billing details and order information
- Information submitted through our "Start Your Project" enquiry wizard and any support/contact form (business name, industry, project details, budget, timeline, WhatsApp number where provided)
- Purchase history and transaction details
- Account credentials, when you create a Virgoo Studio account or sign in via a magic link
- Any other information you voluntarily provide to us
Payment Information
All payments are processed by our third-party payment processors — PayU, Stripe, and Razorpay. When you pay, your card, UPI, net-banking, or wallet details are entered directly into that provider's own secure, PCI-DSS-compliant payment page — Virgoo Studio's servers never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials. We receive and store only the outcome of the transaction (success/failure), the amount charged, the currency, a provider-issued transaction/order ID, and the billing name/email/phone you provided at checkout. Each payment processor handles your payment details according to its own privacy policy.
Account and Dashboard Information
If you create an account, sign in via a magic link sent after a purchase, or access the customer dashboard, we store your email address, an authentication record, and — where applicable — a role (customer or, for our internal team, admin) that determines what you can see. Your dashboard only ever shows orders, entitlements, and downloads tied to your own account.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we (and the analytics providers described below) may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring website or campaign source
- Website usage and interaction data (e.g. which product pages you view, when you begin checkout)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process purchases, verify payment, and deliver digital products and downloads
- Create and maintain your customer account and dashboard access
- Send order confirmations, download links, and other transactional communications
- Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact/project forms and support requests
- Understand how visitors use our website and improve it (via Google Analytics, described below)
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized transactions, or security issues
- Send marketing or promotional communications where you have consented or as otherwise permitted
- Comply with applicable legal and tax obligations
3. Contact and Enquiry Forms
Our contact page and "Start Your Project" enquiry wizard collect the information you choose to submit — business details, project requirements, budget, timeline, and your contact details — so our team can respond to your enquiry. This information is stored and used solely to evaluate and respond to your request; it is not sold or used for unrelated purposes. A hidden anti-spam field ("honeypot") may also be present on these forms to detect automated bot submissions — it collects no information from real visitors.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Virgoo Studio uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as your selected currency), and — where Google Analytics is active — to distinguish visitors and sessions for analytics reporting.
Cookies we use fall into these categories:
- Strictly necessary — authentication/session cookies that keep you signed in and let checkout function; the site cannot work correctly without these.
- Preference — remembering settings such as your selected display currency.
- Analytics — Google Analytics' own cookies, used to measure site usage (see Section 5).
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling non-essential cookies will not prevent you from browsing the site, but disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent checkout or sign-in from working correctly.
5. Google Analytics
Virgoo Studio uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website — which pages are viewed, which products are viewed and added to checkout, and whether a purchase is completed. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address (used only to derive an approximate location, then discarded), device/browser type, pages visited, and referring source or campaign (e.g. which ad or social post brought you to the site).
We configure Google Analytics to record purchase events (amount, currency, and product) only after a payment has been independently verified as successful on our servers — never from a card number, payment credential, or any other sensitive payment detail, none of which is ever sent to Google Analytics. Personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or the contents of any form you submit are likewise never sent to Google Analytics.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by disabling cookies for this site in your browser.
6. Third-Party Services
Virgoo Studio relies on the following categories of third-party service providers to operate this website and deliver our products:
- Payment processing — PayU, Stripe, and Razorpay (see Section 1)
- Website and application hosting — Vercel
- Database, authentication, and file storage — Supabase, which stores your account, order, and download-entitlement records, and hosts the digital files you purchase behind access-controlled, time-limited download links
- Transactional email delivery — Resend, used to send order confirmations, download links, and account/sign-in emails
- Image hosting and optimization — Cloudinary
- Website analytics — Google Analytics (see Section 5)
Each provider processes information only as necessary to perform its function for us, under its own privacy policy and security practices. Virgoo Studio is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party websites linked from our site, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
7. How We Share Information
Virgoo Studio does not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers described in Section 6, to the extent necessary for them to perform their function (for example, sharing your billing email with our payment processor to complete a transaction, or your order details with our storage provider to generate a download link). We may also disclose information when required to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, protect our rights and security, prevent fraud, or enforce our policies and Terms of Service.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including: encrypting data in transit (HTTPS across the entire site), verifying every payment provider's response with a cryptographic signature/hash before ever marking an order as paid, restricting dashboard and admin access to authenticated accounts with the correct role, and issuing download links that are unique, access-token-based, and time-limited rather than permanently public.
No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain different categories of information for different periods, based on why we collected it:
- Order and transaction records — retained as long as necessary for accounting, tax, and legal-compliance purposes, and to support any refund or dispute request.
- Download entitlements — a purchased download link remains active for a limited period after purchase, after which it expires; the underlying record of your purchase and product access is retained separately for support and account-history purposes.
- Account information — retained for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period after in case you return.
- Contact/enquiry form submissions — retained long enough to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records.
- Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics according to Google's own retention settings.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, we securely delete or anonymize it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law — including, for users in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of personal information we no longer need to retain for a legal, contractual, or accounting purpose
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications or optional data processing at any time
- Ask how your information has been used or shared
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, where one exists
To exercise any of these rights, or with any privacy-related question, contact us at hello@virgoostudio.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity (e.g. by confirming the email address used for your order) before actioning a request.
11. Refunds and Transactions
Questions about refund eligibility, disputed charges, or unauthorized transactions are handled under our separate Refund Policy, which explains what information we ask for when reviewing a refund request and how transaction disputes are handled. This Privacy Policy governs how that information is collected and protected; the Refund Policy governs eligibility and process.
12. Marketing Communications
If you subscribe to our emails, make a purchase, or otherwise provide consent where required, we may send you product updates, educational content, and promotional communications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting hello@virgoostudio.com. Even after unsubscribing from marketing, we may still send transactional messages related to a purchase or your account (e.g. download links, receipts).
13. Children's Privacy
Virgoo Studio is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals below the minimum age required to enter into a legally binding agreement under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
14. International Users and Cross-Border Transfer
Virgoo Studio is accessed by users from different countries, and our service providers (hosting, database, email, analytics, and payment processing) may store or process information in countries other than your own, including outside India. By using our website or purchasing our products, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations, subject to applicable law and the safeguards each provider maintains.
15. Compliance with Indian Data Protection Law
Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its associated rules apply to our processing of your personal data, Virgoo Studio processes personal data only for the lawful purposes described in this Policy, on the basis of your consent (given by using this website, submitting a form, or completing a purchase) or another legal basis recognized under applicable law, and takes the security measures described in Section 8 to protect that data. You may exercise the rights described in Section 10 in relation to this processing at any time.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. This is the only Privacy Policy that applies to Virgoo Studio — we will not publish a separate policy for an individual product or page.
